| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Email address | To create your account, sign you in, and send the weekly debrief if you want it. |
| Display name and optional profile photo | So your pod and friends can recognize you. |
| Fitness profile — sex, height, weight, goals, equipment, training locations, injuries | To build a program sized to you and to avoid exercises that stress a reported injury. |
| Activity — workouts, sets, reps, weights, personal records, weigh-ins, body-fat estimates | To track progress, award badges, and rank your pod leaderboard. |
| Progress photos (optional) | So you can see change over time. These are stored privately. |
| Messages — pod chat, direct messages, nudges, cheers | To deliver them to the person you sent them to. |
| Device push token | To send notifications you've enabled. |
Not everything you log is shared. Specifically:
Each processes only what it needs to perform that function.
We keep your data while your account exists. Delete your account and we delete your profile, activity, photos, and messages. See Delete My Data.
You must be 18 or older to hold an account. PodPact is not intended for anyone under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.
If we make a material change to this policy, we'll say so in the app before it takes effect.
Physical exercise carries inherent risk, including injury, illness, and in rare cases death. By using PodPact you accept those risks. Suggested weights, sets, and exercises are starting guidelines produced automatically from information you provide — they are not a prescription and are not supervised by a professional. Warm up, use good form, work within your capability, and stop if something hurts.
You're responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password secure. Give accurate information — the program is built from what you tell us, so bad inputs produce bad programs. One account per person.
Pods, chat, nudges, and wagers exist for encouragement. Don't use them to harass, threaten, or abuse anyone. Wagers are between you and the other person; PodPact doesn't handle, hold, or enforce any stake, and we take no part in settling them.
PodPact is a paid subscription: $9.99/month or $69.99/year, after a 14-day free trial. Billing is handled through the App Store or Google Play — not by us directly. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you cancel through your store account. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription. Family Sharing is enabled where the stores support it. Refunds are handled under the policies of the store you purchased through.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aelux Systems is not liable for injury, illness, or loss arising from your use of PodPact, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, in which case they apply to the extent permitted.
You agree to indemnify Aelux Systems against claims, losses, or expenses arising from your use of PodPact or your violation of these terms or any law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Disputes are resolved by individual binding arbitration in Arizona, and you and we each waive participation in class actions.
You may stop using PodPact and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Questions, problems, bug reports, or anything else:
We aim to reply within a few business days. Including your account email and what device you're on helps us sort things out faster.
Open Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, onboarding answers, programs, workout and weight logs, progress photos, badges, messages, wagers, and push tokens.
You can also email support@aeluxsystems.com from your account's email address with the subject "Delete my account". We'll confirm and complete deletion within 30 days.
You don't have to delete anything — turn off the weekly debrief in Settings → Notifications, or use the unsubscribe link in the email footer.
